Corvus Learning Trust

Welcome

The Corvus Learning Trust is a collaboration of like-minded schools which have shared values together with a common ethos and vision for education. We work together whilst retaining each school's own individuality. Our vision is to "deliver an exceptional education to all our young people".

Corvus Learning Trust (CLT) was established in January 2018 by its four founding schools: Oaklands Infant, Oaklands Junior, Hatch Ride Primary and Edgbarrow School. We were delighted when Sandhurst School joined us in 2022, followed by The Bulmershe School and Kennel Lane School in 2024. As a relatively small Trust, we are fully committed to,  and work closely with,  our schools to support them in their delivery of educational provision and their leadership.

With a growing experience of working in partnership with schools, we are keen to expand and look for opportunities to grow steadily for the benefit of all of us. We represent and look to improve all phases of education in mainstream and specialist provision, from Early Years through to Key Stage 5. All our founding schools have recently received an Ofsted inspection and all were found to be Good or better.

As we have grown, we have worked hard to develop and enhance our Trust central services through our Educational Development team and our support team. We now have over 20 central staff and our schools all benefit from the strengthened team. Colleagues, who are experienced leaders, support the leadership and educational provision in all our schools. As a Trust, we also benefit from the knowledge and experience offered by Members, Trustees and Governors who all form part of the governance structure within the Trust.

I am very proud of the way the Trust is true to its values, has established itself and has grown with integrity, ensuring that children, staff and parents are our priority. It is important to me that we have a good reputation for the people we are, the manner in which we work together and the quality of education in all our schools. We are so fortunate to have committed staff, in each of our schools and in the central team, who all work tirelessly for the children and for each other. It is an absolute honour and pleasure to lead the Trust.
